The Bluegrass Gadgets
Music with a blend of acoustic sounds with vocal harmonies, bluegrass based with country and pop. Our music history exceeds well over a century and members include Keith on guitar/vocals, Penny vocals/vocal harmony, Ricky on mandolin/vocals, Jamie on fiddle/dobro/vocals, Allen on banjo/vocals and Gina on bass/vocals
Bluegrass music has been a vital part of our heritage and culture in the Carolinas for many years now. The Charleston-based bluegrass band, YeeHaw Junction, has been keeping the tradition alive and strong in South Carolina’s Lowcountry and throughout the region since 1999.
Stringed instruments are the core of any traditional bluegrass band: Jeff Meierer on mandolin, Kristen Meierer on upright bass, Lisa Deakins on fiddle, David Grant on guitar and Tadd Huff on banjo. Their hot picking and smooth harmonizing will provide an all-acoustic treat for any bluegrass fan.
YeeHaw Junction has a new cd out titled “Live at the Charleston Music Hall.” The band has been featured on ETV and has performed at bluegrass festivals throughout the South and as far away as Great Britain.
